2 states A/B and C/D, A response of b goes from 1st to second and an a goes from second to first, else no effect. Stays in first state trying mostly to do more complicated pattern recognition. Similar to test runs –1 and –3 of 22nd Jan.

I think I will try doing response before pattern recognition. Leave pattern recognition until the end when the pattern’s constituent stimuli have become permanent, i.e. all responses tried.
