Adaptron Test Run-2 9th April, 2004

2 states A & B, a moves B->A and b moves A->B. An a in A gets punished with an X and a b in B gets rewarded with a Y.

Now stores immediately a good or bad stimulus in LTM. Now in an infinite pleasure seeking loop! Because neurons adapt to repetition even the most primitive stimulus when repeated becomes ignored after a certain time (it habitualizes) until the neuron comes back to equilibrium (no stimulus). This means that the Y should loose its goodness (pleasure) after repeating so many times. So should an X loose its pain.

Even with a delay before good acts that way it still repeats the behaviour because of the expectations of good.
