Adaptron Test Run – 1 2nd May 2011

We have just executed the A-habit BA > B and got a C instead for the goal. I have EmptySTM turned off when started an action habit subconsciously. We have just attended to BAC being the longest sequence recognized. The action habit has not been updated with the goal C instead of B because the attention is not being paid to the next length one stimulus to see if it matches the goal. It is attending to the longest sequence. Maybe the attention to the longest stimulus sequence for self-entertainment should only be within the action habit for stimuli that continue the habit. This can only apply when two action habits have been joined sequentially.

Then the question is does this entertainment sequence contain the trigger, the goal or both? Need to go back to basic principles. The action was done reflexively to avoid an expected repeat or react to an actual repeat in order to cause change and hopefully something unfamiliar which will be interesting. The something could be a novel goal stimulus or an unfamiliar trigger-goal sequence. Mind you the novel goal stimulus will also cause an unfamiliar trigger-goal sequence.

Thus the reason for doing it again could be either the goal stimulus is interesting or the trigger-goal sequence is interesting.
